1% FOR THE COMMUNITY

The Beach Without Sand team is stoked to announce an initiative that gives back.

Each year we will be putting 1% of our profits back into the community in the form of support for the environment, local schools, sporting associations, and families in need.

Wato said "I just think it's any business's responsibility to be part of their community and we've always tried to be involved through the local clubs and schools but wanted to extend further. We're stoked to support the community that supports us."

The initiative that was appropriated from Patagonia's 1% for the Planet, has already made an impact with $1000 donations presented to both the North Avalon Surfriders Association (NASA) and ONE EIGHTY.

Now, by shopping small at your local surf shop you're also supporting your community.

For more information or to find out how to be involved, pop in-store and talk to one of the team. Or drop us a line in the form below.

OUR 2017 RECIPIENTS

ONE EIGHTY is bunch of twenty-somethings looking out for our mates on the beaches. Our initiative was born from a frustration at the lacking visibility and accessibility of mental health care in our area. And from the anger at losing too many friends to mental illness. One Eighty is youth mental health care and awareness done differently. FIND OUT MORE HERE.
